The United States Ambassador to Israel, Tom Neides, responded this evening (Sunday) to President Herzog's speech and said: "Wonderful speech. Thank you, Mr. President."
As I recall, President Herzog presented his compromise outline on the subject of legal reform.
A senior official in the coalition commented on the speech and told Israel Hayom this evening: "We are in favor of negotiations, but there will be no postponement of the first reading."
As a reminder, the legislation of the reform in the Knesset is expected to begin tomorrow.
