Beijing (Beijing), the capital, is best visited in spring, from March to May, and in autumn, from September to October, just like the rest of its region.

These seasons are characterized by a temperate climate and colorful landscapes, contrasting with the stifling heat of summer, when the mercury is close to 32°C, and the risk of snow in winter.

At first sight, the capital may appear to be just a modern, cosmopolitan city, with its skyscrapers and its impressive network of highways, but amidst the concrete and glass, we discover vast squares, including the famous Tiananmen, sumptuous monuments, like the Forbidden City, and beautiful gardens, such as the Summer Palace.

From the capital, we also set off to explore one of the wonders of the country;

the Great Wall of China, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world.

Winding over some 6700 km through arid hills, deserts, mountains and plateaus, it is best discovered from March to May, when the temperatures are cool enough for the ride to be pleasant.
