Sana'a - SANA

Participants in a solidarity stand organized today in front of the Syrian embassy in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, called for lifting the unjust US blockade imposed on Syria, denouncing the double standards policy of Western countries in dealing with the victims of the devastating earthquake disaster.

During the solidarity stand, a number of speeches were delivered by representatives of the political forces and components, civil society organizations, and the Ministry of Human Rights in Yemen, in addition to the head of the Syrian community, who stressed the need for an immediate and complete lifting of the American blockade, and compensating the Syrian people for all the damages that occurred to them, not as a result of the earthquake. Not only, but with everything caused by the so-called (Caesar's law) and Western unilateral coercive measures.

The speeches criticized the policy of double standards followed by Western countries in dealing with victims of the earthquake disaster and humanitarian issues, stressing that the earthquake showed the true face of Western regimes and the falsity of allegations and false allegations about human rights and moral standards that they adopt.

A statement issued by the solidarity stand called for the solidarity of peoples until the unjust American blockade imposed on Syria is dropped, announcing the opening of the door for donations through an official account linked to the Yemeni embassy in Syria.

The solidarity stand was organized by the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Yemen, the Cultural Front to Confront the Aggression on Yemen, members of Parliament and Shura Councils, representatives of political parties, civil society organizations, cultural events, human rights activists, and Yemeni media professionals.
