Latakia - SANA
The branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lattakia received the first aid convoy provided by the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon, to provide relief to the victims of the earthquake in Syria.
In a statement to SANA, the Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon, Ali Hijazi, confirmed during the delivery of the aid convoy that this is the first convoy to be sent to our brothers in Syria under the title “Caesar’s Law is under our feet,” as an expression of the need for moral and human solidarity with the Syrian people. And to stand by him in his ordeal and calamity resulting from a natural disaster that befell him, considering that unjust punishments cannot stand as a barrier between the two peoples, and we will always be by their side with our simple and modest capabilities.
The convoy and the Lebanese delegation were received by the Secretary of the Latakia Branch of the Baath Party, Eng. Haitham Ismail, members of the branch leadership, the commander of the Baath Brigades in Syria on behalf of Sudan, and a crowd of party leaders and civil activists.
