In the shadow of President Herzog's speech yesterday, which called for dialogue around the legal reform, thousands of citizens are on strike today (Monday) in protest of the reform.
Alongside this, thousands are expected to demonstrate in front of the Supreme Court and in front of the Knesset, when a counterpart in the Law, Constitution and Justice Committee of the Knesset will vote on the change in the composition of the Committee for the Appointment of Judges ahead of the first reading.

07:00 - Some activists of the protest against the government "block the coup" blocked the exit from the house of the Minister of the Neighborhoods, the Negev and the Galilee Yitzhak Waserlauf in the Shapira neighborhood in Tel Aviv.
The protestors stated: "We, a group of ultra-Orthodox young men and women for our future, have decided to stand together and resist in any non-violent way the coup attempt. The coup threatens the lives of all the citizens of the country, and therefore we see the fight against it as a civic and moral duty. The citizens of the State of Israel do not want to live under a dictatorship And we will not let a small group of extremists drag us into this."
On the other hand, Minister Wasserlauf said: "The demonstrations and the attempts to threaten me and the government only strengthen us. We established a right-wing government to work for the people of Israel, sovereignty and governance. Democracy is on the ballot and apparently all the disgruntled tweeters who lost the elections have not digested the loss. We came to make amends and will continue to do so ".
