Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki announced that the Palestinian relief team, which is participating in rescue operations and providing support to those affected by the earthquake in Syria, has completed its duties in Latakia and has moved to Aleppo.
Al-Maliki said in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency: The team completed its tasks in Lattakia Governorate, and arrived in the city of Aleppo to provide relief and humanitarian support to the earthquake-affected areas in the governorate, indicating that the team carried out its tasks in the fields of search and rescue, medical and psychological support, and distributed A humanitarian aid truck in cooperation with the Syrian relief organizations.
Al-Maliki indicated that the team will be stationed in the city of Aleppo to provide medical and humanitarian support in various medical centers in the governorate, a number of shelters and in the Handarat and Nairab camps, noting that the medical team has been present for two days in Aleppo University Hospital alongside its Syrian colleagues to deal with medical cases. operations and examinations, and provided treatment for earthquake victims.
A Palestinian relief team arrived in Syria last Thursday, through the Nassib border crossing with Jordan, consisting of 43 people from the Civil Defense, the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
