At least 19 people have been killed in two separate terrorist attacks in Burkina Faso.
And AFP quoted local and security sources in Burkina Faso as saying today: that at least 19 people, including nine volunteers in the armed forces, were killed in two terrorist attacks that took place last Thursday and yesterday, 7 of them in the village of Dimbo, northwest, and 12 others in Yargatina, a village near the eastern border with Togo and Ghana.
The sources pointed out that this is the third attack targeting Yargatina in a month.
Since 2015, Burkina Faso has witnessed a state of insecurity and repeated terrorist attacks, which have resulted in thousands of deaths and injuries and the displacement of about two million people from their homes.
