Deputy Mufti of the Chechen Republic, Sheikh Sufyan Kurbanov, affirmed that his country stands by the Syrian brothers following the earthquake that struck their cities after years of war.
During his meeting with the Governor of Aleppo Hussein Diab today, after his arrival at Aleppo International Airport on board a humanitarian and relief aid plane, Kurbanov considered that the assistance provided by the Republic of Chechnya is a natural duty towards the friendly Syrian people to provide humanitarian support to the affected people, expressing the solidarity of the people and leadership in Chechnya with the brothers in Syria.
In turn, the Governor of Aleppo noted the importance of this humanitarian initiative from the friendly Republic of Chechnya to support the Syrian people in their ordeal as a result of the catastrophe of the devastating earthquake that struck a number of Syrian provinces, noting the positions of the Chechen people and government.
