An earthquake-affected shelter in Al-Hailani School in Bustan Al-Qasr neighborhood in Aleppo today received a batch of Indonesian humanitarian aid, including food, clothes and blankets sent from the Diplomatic Club and the Indonesian Embassy in Damascus.
"We came today to Aleppo to deliver some humanitarian aid collected by the embassy staff and Indonesian students to our brothers in Syria who were affected by the earthquake, to confirm our standing with our Syrian friends at this difficult time," Fawzi Wajdi, the Indonesian ambassador to Damascus, said in a statement to SANA reporter.
Ambassador Wajdi expressed his regret for the devastating earthquake that struck the cities of Syria, offering his deep condolences on behalf of the Indonesian people and the staff of his country's embassy, hoping that this simple assistance would contribute to strengthening and strengthening relations between the peoples of the two countries.
For her part, Radianti Fawzi, Chairwoman of the Indonesian Diplomatic Club in Syria, offered her deepest condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquake, indicating that the ladies of the Diplomatic Club opened a center to collect donations, which were transferred to the people affected by this earthquake as an expression of support for the families of the victims of the devastating earthquake.
