Greece has long been one of the most favorite destinations for the Israeli tourist, but even there there are quite a few amazing areas that are still unknown among Israelis - one of them is the Peloponnese, a peninsula with extraordinary beaches.
• Just like in the Maldives: the new crazy hotel that will open in Israel
• "Looks like a game of Tetris": this is what happens to our luggage in the belly of the plane
• Half a million free plane tickets to one of the most fascinating destinations in the world: this is how it will work
The Lonely Planet defined the area as "the most authentic in Greece", and it is suitable for a couple and family vacation.
What characterizes the peninsula for long periods of the year are the clear blue waters.
In the Peloponnese there is also a large water park, the most beautiful scenic train in Greece, authentic Greek villages, taverns and a traditional Greek atmosphere.

Those who come to visit the area can also visit Zakynthos and Lefkada, which are a short sail away.
The area is rich in history with fascinating places such as ancient Olympia, where the Olympic Games began, Sparta, Laconia and more.
The one who will operate the direct flights to the destination will be the tourist company Esht Tours, which will use the planes of Sun Dor, the subsidiary of El Al.
The flights will initially be operated in a bi-weekly format, on Sundays and Thursdays starting this coming May.
In August, a third weekly flight will be added on Tuesdays.
How much will it cost?
Flight prices will start at $399 per person.
A vacation in a five-star hotel on an all-inclusive basis including flights will cost from 549 dollars per person.

Shirley Cohen-Orakbi, Vice President of Esht Tours, said: "The northwest Peloponnese, which is less than two hours' flight from Israel, is suitable for everyone - lovers of resorts and shopping, lovers of nature and history, families, young people and independent travelers.
This is a pristine destination that is becoming more and more sought after among tourists from Europe and Russia, whose absence from the market gives the Israeli audience an opportunity to discover a new destination at attractive prices.
We have no doubt that the destination will become one of the leaders in summer destinations this year."
