He threatened his victim with a knife at a traffic light in January 2022 and held him captive for hours.

The district court of Munich I sends Gökhan S. (26) permanently to the psychiatric ward.
In January 2022, he kidnapped a woman (25) in a spectacular way: S. got into Azra P.'s (25, name changed) car on the Innsbrucker Ring when she was standing at the traffic light with her BMW 3 Series Coupé.
In the passenger seat, Gökhan S. held a knife to her neck and threatened the woman he had held in his power for hours.
He had kidnapped her as far as Neuhausen in an abandoned factory area and tried to rape her there, but this was unsuccessful due to her resistance.
She later managed to escape.
"The 10th Criminal Chamber of the Munich I Regional Court, chaired by Nikolaus Lantz, ordered the accused to be placed in a psychiatric ward with a judgment dated February 10, 2023," says court spokesman Dr.
Laurent Lafleur.
After the main hearing, which lasted a total of seven days, the Chamber was convinced “that the defendant got into the car of a driver he did not know and then forced her, at the point of a knife, to drive with him onto the site of a closed factory and take the car parked there.” The accused wanted to rape the injured person there.
However, the victim managed to escape from the car.
The suspect then stole the victim's purse.

Only five days later - according to the findings of the chamber - the accused again forced an employee in a car dealership at the point of a knife to hand him a car key for a car of his choice.
"The accused then drove the car out of the dealership at low speed, but was then arrested by the police officers who had been summoned," says Lafleur.
According to the court spokesman, the 10th Criminal Chamber rated these acts as hostage-taking, particularly serious sexual assault, armed theft and extortion kidnapping and particularly serious extortion.
Due to a severe paranoid-hallucinatory schizophrenia, Gökhan S. is not guilty.
“A conviction could therefore not be made,” explains Lafleur.
"Instead, the chamber ordered the - basically unlimited - accommodation of the accused in a psychiatric hospital."
