Today, the Syrian embassy in Algeria continued to receive mourners for the victims of the earthquake, which struck the country last Monday.

While the mourners expressed in the condolence book their sympathy for Syria and its people, and demanded the lifting of the unjust and unilateral blockade imposed on Syria, especially in light of this humanitarian catastrophe.

At the head of the mourners were the Speaker of the National Assembly, Saleh Goujil, representing the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Issues, Kawthar Kreiko, the Secretary-General of the National Liberation Front, Abu al-Fadl Baji, the head of the People's Voice Party, Dr. Lamine Osmani, and the head of the Future Front, Dr. Abdel Aziz. Belaid, Secretary-General of the Republican National Alliance Party, former minister Professor Belkacem Sahli, Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the National Democratic Assembly, Mohamed Tawil, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Algerian Parliament, Salim Merah, President of the National Confederation of Citizen Employers, Mohamed Sami Aqli, and President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, Kamal Mawla. President of the Algerian Economic Club Said Mansour, President of the Contractors and Industrialists Club of Metija Fathi Amour, President of the Confederation of Algerian Industrialists and Producers Abdel Wahhab Ziani, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council Prof. Dr. Sidi Mohamed Bouchnak,And Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Higher Institute of Sciences, Dah Kouzi, in addition to members of the diplomatic corps in Algeria, including ambassadors, diplomats, and chargé d'affaires from the embassies of the Russian Federation, Iran, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia, Zambia, Vietnam, the Vatican, Congo, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Lebanon, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Tunisia, Sudan, and the Republic of Yemen And Libyan.

The condolence delegations also included a number of representatives of international organizations, namely the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Erna Botaud, and representatives of the African Police Mechanism (Afripol), in addition to Algerian citizens and others who went to offer condolences and support to Syria.

The embassy had opened a register of condolences from yesterday until this evening.

In another context, the National Authority for Health Promotion and Research Development, the Pharmacists Syndicate and the Algerian Red Crescent, in coordination with the Syrian Embassy in Algeria, opened a warehouse to collect donations and coordinate their transfer to those affected.
