Lebanese ministerial, parliamentary, political, partisan, social and media delegations, Syrian citizens, Arab residents and foreigners continued to flock to the Syrian Embassy in Beirut to offer condolences for the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Syria, affirming their solidarity and standing with Syria, especially in the face of unilateral coercive measures that impede the arrival of humanitarian aid.

Sheikh Hassan al-Masri, a member of the Presidency of the Amal Movement, affirmed in a statement to SANA the solidarity of the Lebanese people with sisterly Syria in its ordeal as a result of the devastating earthquake that hit it last Monday.

For his part, the former minister and deputy head of Hezbollah's political council, Mahmoud Qumati, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the devastating earthquake and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, also called for the lifting of all Western restrictions and unilateral measures imposed on Syria, especially in light of this humanitarian catastrophe, expressing his country's solidarity with Syria and its people in this ordeal.

For his part, the Tunisian ambassador to Lebanon, Burawi al-Imam, expressed the solidarity of the Tunisian people with Syria and their support for it until it gets out of its current ordeal.
