Before starting this review, it would be nice to go back to the few words that Samuel Valensi said, a week ago, at the end of the performance, surrounded by his company, the Pursuit of Blue.
This 30-year-old paid a vibrant tribute to journalist and theater director Philippe Tesson, who died on Wednesday February 1.
From memory, Samuel Valensi says this:
“My father, a veterinarian, looked after the cats of a certain Philippe Tesson.
The latter's cats therefore introduced me to their master and I fell in love with this mischievous, funny, lively, intelligent man (…).
He asked me to become his production assistant at the Théâtre de Poche-Montparnasse.
He will become my mentor, I will become his right arm.
He gave me this love of theater and the desire to devote myself to it (…).
I dedicate this performance to him.
Sustained applause
in the room.
Philippe Tesson, we knew, scented talent.
He had published in his
Avant-scène
