,” the Bobigny prosecutor's office told AFP.
Despite being taken care of by the emergency services, the victim was pronounced dead at 3:24 a.m.
His companion was arrested on the spot.
The number of murdered women on the rise
According to a police source, the suspect admitted to being the perpetrator.
Thirteen stab wounds were recorded on the victim's body and a long kitchen knife seized by investigators, she also said.
Opened on the count of intentional homicide by partner, the investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of Seine-Saint-Denis.
