This morning (Monday) the condition of the 42-year-old father, who was seriously injured in the stampede attack in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem last Friday, worsened.
The father, Avraham Plai, lost his two children in the attack, 6-year-old Jacob Israel Plai and 8-year-old Asher Menachem Plai.
The Hadassah Medical Center reported that he has been sedated and ventilated since yesterday, his condition is described as serious but stable, and he was rushed from the Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in the city.
His family thanks the public for their support and asks for prayers for his recovery.
Minutes before the attack on Friday, Avraham arrived in his car at the bus station in the Ramot neighborhood, where the family lived, and dropped off his children so that they could go to Shabbat "Seva Baruchot" in Bnei Brak.
The terrorist who arrived at the scene sped towards the station and hit them hard.
Jacob's death was determined on the spot a few minutes later and he was laid to rest even before Shabbat.
His 8-year-old brother was taken to the hospital in critical condition, his death was determined during Shabbat, after many efforts to restore his pulse.
The father himself was moderately injured and was taken to the hospital, where his condition initially improved.
Avraham suffers, among other things, from severe injuries to his lower body.
Another brother, about 10 years old, was slightly injured in the attack.

On Saturday night, dozens of people gathered in the family's neighborhood in the capital to mourn Asher Menachem Plai, the 8-year-old who was murdered.
The mother claimed that it is not clear if the father knows and understands the magnitude of the news and the disaster that happened to them.
Yaakov Plai's funeral was held on Friday, before Shabbat, at the Mount of Comfort cemetery in Jerusalem.
Both funerals took place without the presence of the father.
The brother who was wounded in the attack, Zvi Plai, eulogized his brother at the funeral: "Oshi, Oshi, Yaakov. Every week at this time he would return with father and you could see the smile on his face, the joy he would give to the Holy One, blessed be He. Died for the Kiddush of God. I was with him in the last moments. I hope he is now in a high place, that God will give us strength to continue, give strength to mother.
To the whole family, and pray for Dad to get well.

The terrorist who carried out the attack is Hussein Karaka, an Israeli Arab about 30 years old from East Jerusalem.
Karaka lives in the Issawiya neighborhood in the east of the city and his family is from the Mount of Olives, and he had a criminal record.
A policeman who arrived at the scene of the incident shot him dead.
