The People's Committee for the Liberation of the Golan affirmed that the choice of steadfastness and resistance is the way to return the occupied land, by all legitimate means.
In a statement on the occasion of the forty-first anniversary of the uprising of the people of the occupied Golan, the authority stated that the uprising of the people of the Golan on February 14, 1982, and their steadfastness rooted in resisting the occupation, will remain a beacon for generations, and a source of pride for every resister.
The commission said: “This day has become a model of resistance and struggle for the free people of the world against injustice and tyranny… Your national document is nothing but a national labor constitution that establishes the Arabism of the Golan and its Syrian identity rooted throughout history, and proves your faith in the land and the right that you defend for, affirming your belonging to the homeland, Syria, which is fighting the fiercest with you.” The battles against terrorism and its dark detachments, because of the patriotic stance of the Syrian resistance.”
The commission reaffirmed its absolute belief in the inevitability of victory and the urgent return of the Golan, inspired by the steadfastness of the people of the Golan, the people, the Syrian Arab Army, the blood of the martyrs, and the confidence that the usurped right will return to its rightful owners.
