Cake lovers, please act! • Do you want an equally excellent cake? So you must be careful not to do some of the things that you probably do over and over again - every time again • And don't forget to leave us a bite as a token of thanks

Who among us does not like cakes?

It's impossible not to get addicted to the feeling you have after every bite of this delicious pastry, no matter what kind of cake it is.

So know that the next time you make a cake, there are some mistakes you might make that could cause it to come out imperfect - and that's a shame?

• Meat, potatoes and even a glass of water: the 10 things you didn't know you shouldn't heat in the microwave

• Addicted to chocolate?

A new study has discovered why

• Are you cold?

These are the foods that will warm you up on a winter day

Do not grease or flour the mold

You have in your hands the best possible recipe for the cake you like the most, so isn't it a shame to mess with it?

After all, if you don't grease and flour your pan, the cake may stick to it - and then we all know how complicated it becomes to get it out of there.

Get a good method from us: spread melted butter in the pan, put it in the freezer for a few minutes and let it harden before you put it on top of the cake mixture.

And by the way, another recommendation of ours: did you grease the mold?

Excellent, now flour it - this creates a sort of barrier that separates the fat and butter, so they won't mix during baking.

Follow the rules.

Using the wrong template

There are so many molds for making a cake, so how do you know which one is the most suitable for the cake you want to make?

An aluminum pan is popular because it holds up well to heat and has a partially non-stick surface that prevents the butter from sticking.

A glass pan, for example, is not particularly resistant to high heat, but its great advantage is that it does not give the cake a metallic taste.

So how do you choose the appropriate template?

If you want to make a cheesecake, you should use a springform pan, but don't use it if you want to make buttery cakes, as its sides are not foolproof and can cause the butter to leak out.

Waiver of preheating the oven

Is it true that the recipes always ask you to preheat the oven in which you are going to heat the cake to a certain temperature?

Well, they don't write this for nothing: not preheating the oven can cause the cake to be unevenly baked.

According to Livestrong, baking a cake at too low a temperature can cause the final product to sink in the center.

Have you considered perhaps extending the baking time to compensate for the sunset?

You risk that the cake will turn out too dry.

On the other hand, if you increase the temperature too much - you may burn the crust of the cake, which can make it simply inedible, and who wants that when it comes to their cake?

Incorrect evaluation of the components

Let's face it: baking is a combination of art and science.

If you estimate the weight of the ingredients of the recipe you are using, you may find that the end result will be too moist or dry, for example - or maybe even too salty or sweet.

Therefore, always follow your recipe exactly - and be sure to use the correct weight that appears in it (for example, if the recipe says to use 50 grams of butter - do not add more or less to the mixture).

Unnecessary opening of the oven door

It's true, we're all impatient sometimes - but that doesn't mean we want to ruin our cake, right?

So instead of opening the oven door every few minutes to see how the cake is baking, just avoid it as much as possible.

The reason: repeatedly opening the oven can cause the cake to sink in on itself - because cold air enters the oven, which affects the temperature of the beloved pastry.

The recommendation is to leave the oven on for three quarters of the time you bake the cake, and also to wait between 5 and 10 minutes between opening and opening.
