Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that the Kiev regime, by seizing Russian assets, preceded its Western sponsors in practicing public robbery.
Zakharova said in statements reported by the Russian Novosti Agency: The recent approval of the Ukrainian Council of Ministers to sell confiscated Russian assets and transfer them to the Kiev treasury, under the pretext of rehabilitating the destroyed Ukrainian energy system, reconstruction and demining is nothing but legislation for the public robbery of Russian assets in full view of the world.
Zakharova added: In a country as ravaged by corruption as Ukraine today, the increased Western aid will not be invested in serving the Ukrainian people, but will flow into the pockets of the corrupt Ukrainian oligarchy loyal to the Kiev regime, which sacrifices defenseless citizens to achieve the geopolitical ambitions of the West and the ambitions of the Ukrainian elite.
