The foreign ministers of the four countries issued a joint statement against the background of the settlement of the nine new settlements in the West Bank.

The arrangement of the nine new settlements in the West Bank that was accepted at the beginning of the week (Sunday) continues to reverberate around the world. After the condemnation received from the direction of America by Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken, the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Great Britain and Italy join him in a joint statement they published today.

In a statement signed by the foreign ministers, it is written: "We, the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom and the Secretary of State of the United States, are very concerned about the Israeli government's announcement to promote the construction of nearly 10,000 housing units in the settlements and its intention to begin the process of legalizing 9 outposts which were previously considered to be contrary to Israeli law."

The foreign ministers further state, "We strongly oppose such unilateral actions that only increase tensions between Israelis and Palestinians and undermine efforts to achieve a negotiated two-state solution."

The senior foreign representatives of the five countries also referred to the peace they wish for in the Middle East: "We continue to support a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East, which must be achieved through direct negotiations between the parties. Both Israelis and Palestinians have the right to live in peace, to the same degree of Freedom, security and prosperity. We reaffirm our commitment to helping Israelis and Palestinians achieve the vision of Israel's full integration in the Middle East alongside a sovereign and viable Palestinian state. We continue to closely monitor developments on the ground that undermine the viability of the two-state solution and the stability of the entire region."

Oded Ravibi, head of the Efrat local council, commented on the Foreign Minister's statement against the training of the young settlement: "I have nothing but regret for the Foreign Minister's choice to leave everything and publish a reference to the nine settlements. On the one hand, this shows a disproportionate and unfair attitude towards Israel and the government. On the other hand, it is required An Israeli reference that will explain the decision, the need to respond to the natural growth of the population and to respond to the needs of the population. Dialogue and explanation on our part will soften the objections - such a statement must not be ignored."

Yigal Brand, CEO of the global leadership of the Beitar movement, said: "The hypocrisy of the European foreign ministers knows no bounds. They think that the State of Israel is another British or French colony. The time has come for the foreign ministers to stop undermining Israel's sovereignty. The Zionist reaction The most appropriate for all those who seek our welfare is the expansion of settlement - a Zionist value of the highest order."
