Under the title “Our hearts are with you,” the Al-Wathba Sports Club Fans Association, in cooperation with the club’s management, today sent a convoy to support those affected by the earthquake in Aleppo governorate, which included food and relief items, medicines and infant formula.
The club's president, Dr. Youssef Salameh, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that, based on our national and humanitarian duty towards our brothers in the affected governorates, we organized this campaign through which we seek to mitigate the effects of this humanitarian disaster and extend a helping hand to them, stressing that these campaigns are proof that the people of Homs have overcome the effects of the war. Difficult circumstances and their haste to help their brothers back home.
In his turn, the club’s vice president and campaign official, Najeeb Al-Farra, pointed out that today’s convoy is the third, as it was preceded during the past days by the conduct of two support convoys for the governorates of Aleppo and Latakia, noting the great turnout by the club’s fans to provide any form of in-kind assistance and the state of solidarity and solidarity in which the Syrian people have proven. He is alive and able to overcome adversity.
The head of the Fans Association, Ali Al-Hafyan, stated that through the club's pages, the campaign was announced, which included the running of three convoys, stressing that this matter is not strange for the people of Homs, who are known for their enthusiasm to support their brothers affected by the various governorates as a result of the earthquake disaster.
