The Directorate of Agriculture in As-Suwayda started selling fruit tree seedlings of apples, pears, and all kinds of almonds, such as apricots, cherries, peaches, peaches, and mahlab, in addition to pistachios, to secure the needs of farmers for planting them for the current season.
The head of the plant production department in the directorate, Eng. Akram Saray El-Din, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the total number of seedlings ready for sale of these varieties amounts to more than 230,000, and they are currently being sold within the centers of Kom al-Hassil, Nabe’ Ira, Salkhad and Shahba, at lower prices than those sold in nurseries. own.
Saray El-Din indicated that sales are currently taking place according to agricultural regulation documents, provided that sensory detection documents obtained by farmers from extension units close to their area will be approved in the coming days.
