Banksy
unveiled his latest piece of UK street art on Tuesday, which highlights domestic violence against women to coincide with Valentine's Day.
The mural, which appeared on a wall in the south-east England
seaside town of Margate
, depicts a 1950s-style housewife with a black eye and broken tooth, appearing to push a man inside. from an old freezer.
The mysterious Banksy,
whose true identity remains unknown
, posted three images of his latest work - which he titled "Valentine's Mask" - on his Instagram account.

Several Internet users identified the place where the work was carried out, whose presence was confirmed by AFP.
Three years ago, the artist originally from
Bristol
, who works under a pseudonym, had already painted a work for Valentine's Day: a girl
shooting a bouquet of red flowers with a catapult.
The mural appeared this morning on Tuesday, February 14, Valentine's Day, and soon became a tourist attraction in the small town of Margate, in the south of England.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Banksy, whose
works regularly break auction records
, has supported the Ukrainians.
In January he put 50 screen prints up for sale to raise funds for civilians.
And in mid-November he posted a video on his Instagram account in which he collected his paintings in Ukraine, including one of a person with a
gas mask in Hostómel
, thus confirming that he is the author.

The work was carried out on a street mural, to which the artist put an old freezer in front to complete his work.
Hours after he internationally disclosed his work through the networks, staff from the Commune of Margate
removed the old freezer, leaving the work half done
