Egyptian deputies, politicians, media professionals, and Arab and foreign ambassadors flocked to the Syrian embassy in Cairo to offer condolences for the victims of the earthquake that hit Syria last week.

Condolences were offered to Ambassador Dr. Bassam Darwish, head of the diplomatic mission and members of the embassy, ​​the ambassadors of Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Croatia, Niger, Chad and Slovakia, representatives of the embassies of Oman, Russia, Poland, Belarus, Pakistan and Bulgaria, and representatives in the Egyptian House of Representatives Nashwa El-Deeb, Atef Maghawry, Ahmed Bilal, Duha Assi, Ahmed Darrag and Salma Murad. And Muhammad Arafat and Hala Abu Al-Saad, and delegations from “Media Journalists for Syria,” the Arab and Islamic Gathering to Support the Choice of Resistance, and the Egyptian Association for Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities.

The Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amjad Al-Adayleh, expressed condolences and sympathy for the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Syria to the Syrian leadership and people, wishing that peace and stability would prevail in the land of Syria and its people would enjoy it.

Abdul Rahman Hassan, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Bahrain, also offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of brotherly Syria for the victims of the devastating earthquake in the name of the people and government of Bahrain, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

Ghazi Fakhri, cultural advisor and member of the Palestinian National Council, said: "Syria will remain, whatever the circumstances, a supporter of our Arab nation and the Palestinian cause," stressing that the Palestinian people stand by its side in these difficult circumstances.

The Iraqi Ambassador, Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, expressed his condolences to the government and people of Syria for the earthquake victims, wishing patience and solace to their families.

Egyptian Parliament member Nashwa El-Deeb appealed to the whole world and people of conscience to stand with the Syrian people, and to call for lifting the unjust siege imposed on Syria, stressing that the Egyptian people will always remain on the side of the brothers in Syria.

Atef Maghawry, a member of the Egyptian Parliament, said: The unjust economic blockade imposed on Syria violates all laws and laws and constitutes a desperate attempt by the conspiring forces to break Syria after the terrorist war it was subjected to, calling for breaking this blockade by all means.

Member of Parliament Ahmed Bilal renewed the demand to lift the sanctions against Syria and its people, explaining that in the face of this natural disaster, Syria should not remain under the sword of these unjust and unfair sanctions.

Member of Parliament Duha Asi, human rights and political activist Khaled Al-Kilani, Dr. Sherif Gad, head of the Egyptian Association for Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities, and Jamal Zahran, coordinator of the Arab and Islamic Gathering to Support the Resistance Option in Egypt, expressed their condolences to the Syrian people for the victims of the earthquake, stressing the depth of relations between the two brotherly peoples, and calling for lifting The unjust blockade on Syria.
