Today, a convoy of relief aid provided by the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Lebanon to the earthquake-affected people in the affected governorates arrived at the Arida border crossing with Lebanon, and it includes 11 trucks containing relief and food materials and 6 ambulances with their ambulance crews.
In a statement to reporters, the party's representative, Lubna al-Husseinieh, stressed the importance of supporting and standing by the Syrian people, who stood by the Lebanese people in their various ordeals and crises.
Amin Ali Izz al-Din, an official in the party, pointed out that the convoy set off under the directives of the party's head, Al-Amin Rabie Banat, to support our Syrian brothers in the affected areas, and the party is in the process of running other convoys.
And the young Hussein Deeb stated that he came to Syria as part of ambulance teams and trucks carrying medical materials, supplies for children, foodstuffs, relief items, and others. Doctor Antos Haddad confirmed that he came to Syria to put his hand in the hands of the Syrian people and support them.
The Director of Public Services in Tartous Governorate, Jihad Qamira, explained that for the sixth day in a row, aid convoys arrived from various sectors of the Lebanese people, partisan forces and civil associations, while the director of the Arida Border Center, Eng. Hassan Barhoum, indicated the importance of humanitarian initiatives as they are civil.
