Today, the French are on strike.
Nothing new under the sun, you might say.
Well yes, because the movement does not concern pension reform.
It comes to us from liberal doctors whose anger has already been rumbling for months.
They say they are exhausted by too much paperwork and bureaucracy, annoyed by fees deemed too low and tired by a lack of recognition.
Some collectives therefore call on doctors not to work this Tuesday, just to influence the ongoing negotiations on the prices charged in the offices.
And with recent legislative attempts to hamper the freedom of these professionals to settle wherever they want, the tension is at its highest.
It's also Valentine's Day today, the feast of lovers: think of those you love!
