One of the gangsters even took photos of the damage to the taxi, which seemed to be used for "commercial work", but some netizens ridiculed the gangsters for not removing the CAM of the car, leaving behind criminal evidence in disguise.
The police responded to the inquiry and stated that the incident happened at 1:46 am yesterday (13th). The owner of the taxi surnamed Li (26 years old) reported to the police that when he returned to the parking lot of Yiu On Estate, he found that the glass of the taxi had been smashed.
The police officers went to the scene to check the Cam, and found that two masked men in black clothes and black pants had smashed it with a mallet, and the four tires of the taxi had also been deflated.
The case is now being followed up by the Sha Tin Criminal Investigation Team. The suspects involved in the case are being tracked down and the motive of the crime is being investigated.
