Haley's campaign, 51 years old, uploaded a video in which she speaks optimistically about the future of the United States and calls on the new generation of leadership to move the country forward.

In the video, Hayley talks about her childhood in a segregated city.

"I am a proud daughter of Indian immigrants - not black, not white, I was different," she says.

She also calls for unity.

"My mother always said that my job is not to focus on the differences, but on the commonality. My parents reminded me and my brothers every day how blessed we are to live in the United States."

Haley is important to Israel

As far as Israel is concerned, Haley was an important supporter of Israel at the United Nations on the issues of Iran, the Palestinians, the war on terror and also helped repel criticism of Israel. In

2018, Haley spoke at the Security Council debate on Syria and sharply attacked Iran. "Iranian militias in Syria sent a drone into Israeli territory , it was a step of sharp escalation," Haley said. "Iran again did what it always does, risking conflicts and examining the intentions of its neighbors and opponents to stand up to its aggression." Haley added that "Israel rightly took steps to defend itself.

The United States will always stand by its allies when they face provocations from Iran, Hezbollah or the Assad regime.

In another incident, Haley sided with Israel and even attacked the "double standard" at the UN. "We are all concerned about violence in the Middle East and Egypt for the loss of life, but the double standard is very common and works overtime here," she said.

She also supported the move of the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

According to her, the opening of the embassy in Jerusalem does not change the permanent borders in the region, and even accused Hamas of fueling the violence.

"Let's remember that Hamas has been encouraging violence for years, long before we decided to move the embassy," she noted.

"Who would accept such a thing in their own border? No one," she stated.

"Nevertheless, no one has been more restrained than Israel. Whoever thinks it has to do with the embassy is greatly mistaken. It has to do with the very existence of Israel within any borders."

In June 2019, Haley came to visit Israel, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hosted her and her husband for lunch at the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem.

Haley thanked Netanyahu for the welcome and said that "great things have been done between the two governments and this is an eternal bond. We hope for many more years of partnership and strength between Israel and the US."

Internally, Haley did not initially support Trump's candidacy and even disagreed with some of his views.

Her exposure to international issues during her tenure as ambassador to the United Nations gave her another dimension of potential national and international leadership.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Tim Scott, a Republican senator from South Carolina, is also expected to announce his candidacy in 2024.

Scott, 57, is the only black Republican in the Senate today.

He said in August that he aims to run in the 2024 elections.
