The Russian army, and especially Wagner's auxiliaries, are continuing to encircle Bakhmout, a city in Donbass in eastern Ukraine which had 70,000 inhabitants before the war.
Evguéni Prigojine, leader of the Russian paramilitary group, claimed Sunday the conquest of Krasna Hora, a village in the north of Bakhmout (600 inhabitants before the war).
This capture, admittedly modest, above all made it possible to tighten the Russian grip around the besieged city by imposing itself on the M03 road which linked the front to Sloviansk, 60 kilometers behind.
The Ukrainian army only has one road left through Khromove (map below).
