"Finally my own apartment" - "Hartz and warm" couple leaves Benz barracks

"Hartz and cordial": Martina (21) and Jonas (22) have actually wanted to move out of the Benz barracks for a long time.

But Jonas has to pay off debts again and again - until now!

People with a heart live in the Benz barracks in Mannheim – but social hardship is part of their everyday life.

Jonas (22) also has "Hartz und cordial" participant's heart in the right place, but life with financial worries is not easy for him either.

The young security guard actually wants to get his driver's license and turn his back on the Benz barracks, but back payments from the authorities keep getting in his way.

Jonas still lives with his mother Simone in the green block of the Mannheim cult district, as MANNHEIM24 reports.

The duo forms a community of needs.

That's why the security guard has to use his income to pay for his mother's debts.

It's not easy for the 22-year-old: He works a lot, earns his own money and still doesn't get anywhere. 

It's a vicious circle for Jonas, because he would most like to turn his back on the Benz barracks and move out together with his girlfriend Martina.

But this is not so easy.

Again and again he has to pay off his mother's debts - and in doing so he reaches his limits.

The TV favorite is now announcing on Instagram that fighting for a future together was worth it!

"Hartz and warm" in Mannheim: TV darling Jonas has moved out - "finally our own apartment"

With Martina, Barackler is finally daring to make a fresh start, as he reveals on Instagram on February 1: “Our update.

Me and my girlfriend left the Benz barracks a while ago.

We finally found our own apartment,” Jonas writes in his Instagram post.

So far, finding an apartment has turned out to be more difficult than expected.

In addition to the debts, Jonas' Hartz IV clichés of "Hartz and warmly" caused resentment and even led to rejection of the apartment.

"It's always about the [stupid] money," the "Hartz und Herzen" viewers heard Jonas scold regularly in the social documentary on RTLZWEI.

The young man from Mannheim is happy about the change in his life.

After months of frustration, he can now look to the future with optimism: "Now new goals are being set and we're going to continue," reads his Instagram story.

The move has also gone smoothly so far: "The move is not quite complete, but we have come a long way," continued Jonas on Instagram.

He does not reveal where the native of Mannheim moved with his girlfriend.

What is already certain, however, is that Jonas has decided to take a big step, even though he has fond memories of his childhood in the Benz barracks.

Also "Hartz und cordial" offspring Pascal left the socially disadvantaged settlement - and moved to Kusel for love.
