Under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, the British opposition party has become a "hotbed for anti-Semitism" • The new Labor chairman has vowed to uproot the phenomenon and now an important government organization recognizes the achievements of the reform in the party

The Equality and Human Rights Commission in the United Kingdom, a government organization whose purpose is to combat the phenomena of racism and discrimination, announced today (Wednesday) that it will stop monitoring the phenomenon of anti-Semitism in the Labor Party after it implemented far-reaching reforms to combat the phenomenon within the ranks of the party.

According to the organization, under the leadership of the current chairman, Kiir Starmer, the party "improved its system of filing complaints and its training in order to protect current and future members of the party" and that after two years of closely monitoring the conduct of the party, the organization will cease to closely supervise its conduct.

"This is a historic moment for the Labor Party," said the party's chairman, Keir Stammer, who took office in 2020 after defeating his predecessor in the position, Jeremy Corbyn, in the elections for the party's leadership. Stammer, married to a Jewish woman and raising his children as Jews, is considered a sign of support for Israel Within the Labor Party he once said that "If believing in the State of Israel is being a Zionist, then I am indeed a Zionist."

In a column he wrote for The Times of London, Starmer attacked the extreme left in his party and wrote: "Anti-Semitism is a form of evil. And certainly, it could be those who define themselves as 'anti-racists' who are the most blind to this evil."

In 2020, under Corbyn's leadership, the Equality and Human Rights Commission published a very serious report on anti-Semitic conduct within the Labor Party, in which Jewish and Zionist members were attacked and expelled from the ranks of the party and it was written that "the conduct of the party led to the collapse of the trust of the Jewish party members and the wider Jewish community in the party and its institutions."

Jeremy Corbyn, who was the head of the party at the time, rejected the criticism and claimed that it was intended to be used as ammunition for his political opponents. Corbyn led a hard anti-Israeli line. He was defeated in the general elections in the country and then from the leadership of the party. Now he serves as an independent member of parliament, but still Holds membership in the Labor Party.
