"Hong Kong Top Ten Outstanding Tertiary Students Election 2023" is organized by the Hong Kong Young Tertiary Students Association and title sponsored by Jinlun Holdings Limited.
The goal of the election is to discover, cultivate and praise students who have outstanding performance in both academic achievement and social contribution. It is hoped that this group of future leaders can demonstrate their ambitions, abilities and commitment to society, and use their own experiences to inspire more young people to serve and Caring for the society, at the same time attaching importance to the feelings of the family and the country, and paying attention to the development of the motherland; the election is now accepting registration, and the deadline is March 24.
Candidates can be self-recommended, nominated by the school or nominated by a qualified registration organization in Hong Kong, and submit the application form online.
The strong lineup of the jury creates precious opportunities to communicate with elites from all walks of life
The judging panel for this year's election has a strong lineup, composed of sages from all walks of life or people who have made outstanding achievements in their fields. The 7 members include former Legislative Council Chairman Jasper Jasper, Hong Kong Single Parents Association Director-General Yu Xiuzhu, Hong Kong Hui Zhou Xianben, partner of Kekechuang Investment and honorary president of the Greater Bay Area College, Ma Junwei, a famous art educator, Leung Yuk-wai, member of the Hong Kong SAR Legislative Council and vice chairman of the Youth Development Committee of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Deng Shuigen, CEO of Hong Kong Huawei International Co., Ltd., and Hong Kong SAR legislation Member of the Council, Yan Gang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Merchants Port Holdings.
The judging panel will consider the academic, academic, innovative technology and/or community service achievements of each candidate, together with their performance in interviews, to select outstanding candidates.
The "Hong Kong Top Ten Outstanding Tertiary Students Election" has become a platform for connecting the elite judging panel and students to meet and exchange, which is a rare and valuable experience.
The award-winning students will receive a bonus of 10,000 yuan to "form a team" to participate in a series of overseas visits and study tours to practice caring for society
College students who meet the qualifications will be invited to participate in the preliminary selection interview, and the judging panel will then select 15 finalists for the re-selection interview and participate in the online public voting session.
The ten award-winning students will receive HK$10,000 in gold and various prizes. They will also be awarded commemorative trophies and certificates for the "Top Ten Outstanding Tertiary Students in Hong Kong" event.
Afterwards, they will be invited to participate in overseas visits or other arrangements arranged by the organizer, shouldering the mission of contributing to the society, participating in different activities and services, and building a better society together; and the remaining shortlisted finalists will also be awarded awards Certificate (merit award) and rich prizes.
The ten winners of the "Hong Kong Top Ten Outstanding Tertiary Students Election 2022" have visited grassroots families in the community, such as residents of subdivided flats and rooftop houses, and provided them with anti-epidemic supplies such as food and daily necessities.
They also visited the northern metropolitan area to understand and discuss urban development.
Qualifications:
1. Hong Kong permanent residents or Hong Kong residents who have been in Hong Kong with a one-way permit for less than seven years; and
2. Students who are currently studying full-time tertiary programs in Hong Kong or students of accredited bachelor's degree programs in Hong Kong
