The pocket was torn: after the chain's struggle against the increase in the prices of Unilever's products, after the supply of the products was stopped and after they were returned to the shelves - it turns out that the prices of Unilever's products in the chains were raised by 6-15%.

Thus, for example, in the Victory chain, products became more expensive on average by 15%, at Shufersal Deal by 12%, at Rami Levy by 8%, at Tiv Taam by 7%, and at Yohannoff by 6%.

In the Victory chain, for example, the price of Knorr soy sauce went up from NIS 9.9 to NIS 13.9, an increase of 40%, the price of Lemon's Real Mayonnaise went up from NIS 9.9 to NIS 11.93, an increase of 21%, and chicken flavored soup of Kanor rose from NIS 12.9 to NIS 16.94, an increase of 31%.

"Change in promotions"

In Shufersal Deal, the price of Knorr's chicken-flavored soup powder increased from NIS 12.9 to NIS 16.4, an increase of 27%, the price of Pinok 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner increased from NIS 11.13 to NIS 13.1, an increase of 18%, price Cinnamon cereal rose from NIS 18.9 to NIS 20.8, an increase of 10%.

Shufersal explains that the gap in prices is due to a change in the mix of promotions, and that the catalog price of Unilever products has increased by up to 10% "only".

In the Rami Levy chain, the price of real chicken soup with Knorr meat rose from NIS 14.9 to NIS 18.33, an increase of 23%.

The price of Strauss La's vanilla flavored ice cream with chocolate coating from NIS 38.9 to NIS 44.9, an increase of 15%.

Rami Levy said in response that "the products have not become more expensive, the promotions have changed."

In the Tiv Taam network, Thelma mustard became more expensive from NIS 10.40 to NIS 12.39, an increase of 19%.

The price of fabric softener in Din increased from NIS 14.90 to NIS 17.58, an increase of 18%.

The price of Knorr's real chicken soup rose from NIS 19.9 to NIS 27.19, an increase of 37% (!).

In the Yohannoff chain, the price of Knorr barbecue sauce increased from NIS 10.19 to NIS 11.9, an increase of 17%.

Kanor real chicken soup went from NIS 16.9 to NIS 18.9, an increase of 12%.

A significant and unusual increase

The Yohannoff chain says that the prices of Unilever products have not increased and it is possible that these are promotions, and that the chain is absorbing the price increase of Unilever products.
