Cologne – That's not how RTL imagined the DSDS anniversary season: Because Dieter Bohlen (69) humiliated candidate Jill Lange (22) with a sexist saying ("Did you do anything normal? Or did you just graduate and let yourself be noodled?" ), the pop titan is under criticism – so much so that some are even calling for his dismissal.

Internally, Dieter Bohlen is said to be already controversial at RTL, but the Cologne broadcaster is still holding on to the 69-year-old.
But the former guarantee of success no longer provides the quotas that he once brought in with "Deutschland sucht den Superstar".

The new DSDS episode from Saturday evening (February 11) is representative of this downward trend:
it was seen by just 1.92 million viewers (market share of 7.3 percent) on TV – absolute season low!
But it gets even worse: In the 19 seasons that the pop titan is now on the jury, fewer fans have tuned in to date.
Dieter Bohlen thus posted a negative record that should not make him happy at all.

DSDS quota has been falling continuously since the start of the season – live shows with Dieter Bohlen still uncertain
RTL also knows that “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” is no longer the hit of the past.
After the realignment with Florian Silbereisen (41) as the new chief juror flopped in 2022, it was finally decided to say goodbye to the cult casting show with an anniversary season.
After all, 3.05 million viewers (market share of 11.5 percent) watched the start (January 14), after that it went downhill.
After the dispute between Bohlen and Katja Krasavice (26), it is still unclear how the live shows will continue in April.
The 26-year-old openly attacked the modern-talking star after his sexism saying – and his criticism may have spoken to many a (former) RTL viewer from the soul.
The pop titan doesn't have the best image with his former colleagues either: Most recently, ex-DSDS jurors unpacked planks openly.
