A Citybus line 5B collided with a seven-passenger bus at the opposite of Westport City, Sheung Wan. Both cars were damaged, and four people in the seven-passenger bus were injured. It was intercepted by the police at the Statue Square in Central, 1 km away. The case is now listed as "traffic accident where someone was injured—the accident happened and then ignored." No one has been arrested yet.
Citybus responded to media inquiries and stated that the driver involved had performed driving duties in the past two days, and the accident was the third transfer today. Citybus has immediately suspended the driver's driving duties.

Today (15th) at 1:11 pm, a Citybus route 5B from Kennedy Town to Causeway Bay Stadium collided with a seven-passenger car at No. 323 Des Voeux Road Central, opposite Westgate City.
The body of the seven-passenger bus was seriously damaged, and parts of the bus were also thrown off. However, the bus did not stop. It turned and drove to the Wing On Center bus station on Des Voeux Road Central about 300 meters away. After dropping off passengers, it continued to drive. Some bus passengers called the police.
Rescuers arrived at the scene. The driver of the seven-seater car and three passengers suffered minor injuries and were sent to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment.
The police then found the bus involved in the bus at the Statue Square bus stop in Central, 1 km away. The front of the bus was severely damaged and the windshield was broken. The 60-year-old driver surnamed Liao was present for investigation.
The police said that the case is now classified as "traffic accident with injuries—the accident caused the accident and left without attention", and no one has been arrested yet.
