Daraa artisans, supervisors and workers of reserve bakeries, and the people of the town of Deir al-Adas in the countryside of Daraa donated today an amount of money exceeding 43 million Syrian pounds for the benefit of those affected by the earthquake.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the head of the Daraa Craftsmen Union, Shukri Bajbouj, said: Craftsmen are part of the social fabric, standing hand in hand with their brothers who were affected by the earthquake.
Whereas, the head of the administrative and legal office in the Craftsmen Union, Ayman Al-Dammad, saw that the donation is a simple expression of the solidarity of craftsmen in Daraa with their families, in a number of Syrian governorates.
Ahmed Al-Bakkar and Shawqi Theeb, supervisors of reserve bakeries, confirmed the readiness of the reserve bakeries in Daraa to cover the needs of those affected in a number of Syrian governorates, if requested, and in a way that contributes to alleviating their suffering as a result of the devastating earthquake.
The head of the Deir al-Adas town council, Ahmed al-Ghazi, affirmed that Syria is one people and one family working in the spirit of one team to advance society, while one of the notables of Deir al-Adas, Abdo al-Saadi, said: The pain afflicted everyone, and we came from Deir al-Adas to provide a small part to alleviate the suffering of the people in a number of Syrian governorates. Pointing out that the Syrian people have proven that they are one family and one people.
