Arab and foreign ambassadors and a number of people in Romania continued to flock to the Syrian Embassy in Bucharest, to express their condolences and sympathy to Syria for the victims of the earthquake that it suffered on the sixth of this month.
The Syrian charge d'affaires in Bucharest, Khaled Sharaf, and members of the diplomatic corps were receiving the visiting delegations.
Among the mourners are Lebanese Ambassador Rana Al-Muqaddam, Palestinian Ambassador Issam Massalha, member of the Palestinian National Council Muhammad Al-Ayyash, in addition to the Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Senate of Romania, the Ambassador of the Vatican, and a large number of Romanian citizens and Romanian associations working in the humanitarian field.
Since the first day of the earthquake, material and in-kind aid has continued to flow to the Syrian embassy in Bucharest, from the Syrian community and the Romanian people, who have expressed their solidarity with the Syrian people through consolation and the provision of financial and in-kind assistance.
