Two illegal residents, brothers in their 30s, about two weeks ago, in a short time, managed to break into 8 houses, six of them adjacent to the same street, while the owners of the house were sleeping.
In one of them, when the owner of the house woke up, they sprayed him with tear gas and moved to another house, later they fled with a stolen car from the police and were only arrested when they crashed into a light pole.
Today (Wednesday) an indictment was filed against them and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings.
According to the indictment, filed by the prosecution unit of the Sharon branch of the police, the defendants began their theft spree by stealing the car of a disabled woman, who is being cared for by the ex-partner of one of them, not before forging the identification plate, and then went on a hunting trip between nearby houses , when they moved from house to house, entered inside, and stole property, even when the owners of the apartment were sleeping at the time.

In one of the houses, the complainants woke up from the noise and when he met one of the accused, he sprayed pepper spray in the complainant's face.
This of course did not prevent the defendants from continuing to break into another house where they stole car keys and thus started the car parked outside and stole it as well.
The accused left the place in the two stolen vehicles towards Kfar Qasim, where the police noticed them, and after a chase they were caught and arrested.
In the request for detention until the end of the proceedings, the police prosecutor, Inspector Nofer Mazola, stated that these were the people who took advantage of the innocence of the ex-partner of one of the defendants and they have a child together, where they mentioned to her that they were taking her car for maintenance at a garage in Kfar Qasim, but in practice, they drove the car and took it and this without previously obtaining her consent to this.
