Hama, SANA- The governorate of Hama received today a convoy of food and relief aid from the popular and civil activities in Makhat.

Today, Hama governorate received a convoy of food and relief aid from popular and civil activities in the various cities and towns of Damascus countryside.

The deputy head of the Executive Office of Rif Dimashq Governorate, Jassem Al-Mahmoud, told SANA reporter that the convoy includes four trucks loaded with food and relief supplies, which were delivered to the concerned authorities in Hama Governorate, to be delivered to the citizens affected by the earthquake, indicating that this is the fifth convoy delivered from Rif Dimashq Governorate to the affected governorates. As a result of the earthquake, the first for Hama Governorate.

He pointed out that the aid convoy is a sincere expression of the national cohesion among the Syrians of all sects, because Syria will remain full of its good people, pointing out that the Damascus countryside governorate sent a convoy last Friday to Latakia and on Sunday to Aleppo governorate, and there will be new convoys in the future.

For his part, the head of the Hama Provincial Council, Ibrahim Mualla, indicated that the current convoy is among the people of goodness and loyalty to the people of the affected governorates, as a result of the earthquake, which will be distributed to the people living in shelters, and it was preceded two days ago by another convoy from the people of As-Suwayda governorate, praising the continuous individual initiatives of The people of the province for the people affected by the earthquake, in addition to the positive role of the charitable non-governmental organizations in the province in helping those affected in various ways.
