Hong Kong Customs today (15th) held the "Sixth Annual Meeting of the Three Kingdoms and Five Places" at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The members of the "Three Countries and Five Places Team" include the Anti-smuggling Bureau of the General Administration of Customs, the Law Enforcement Division of the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection, the Australian Federal Police, Hong Kong Customs, Macau Customs and New Zealand Customs.
Deputy Commissioner (Control and Enforcement) of Hong Kong Customs and Excise, Mr Chan Tsz-tat, delivered an opening speech at the meeting.

This year's meeting is the first time since it was held in Ningbo in 2019 after the epidemic.
During the meeting, members of the group introduced the latest drug trafficking trends in their respective jurisdictions and important cases of mutual cooperation. Hong Kong Customs also focused on analyzing and sharing the latest drug trafficking trends and the department's successful enforcement actions in the past few years.
According to the press release, law enforcement agencies across the country will continue to work together and communicate with each other to enhance the effectiveness of jointly combating cross-border drug crimes.
Customs in Tai Kok Tsui, Cheung Sha Wan seized 44 million yuan in drugs and arrested two men and one woman, including a piano teacher 40 smuggled mobile phones were seized at the Bay Control Station, a 39-year-old male passenger was arrested, and the first case of importation and possession of CBD was detected. Customs seized $5,000 of cannabidiol oil.
