For the third day in a row, the
Dellepiane highway woke up deserted this Wednesday.
Those responsible were
no more than ten residents
representing hundreds of other Villa Lugano and Mataderos that four days ago had
intermittent or total power cuts.
After six hours, the picket was released, but after a while there were incidents with protesters who threw stones at the Police, when the troops tried to stop a new protest on the central route and the collector that goes to the center.
The problems do not end there.
Circulating is also complicated by the alternative roads to Dellepiane, that is, the north and south collectors and the internal streets of the Copello, Nágera and Samoré neighborhoods, complexes of apartment buildings on one side and the other of the
highway
.
It is that other neighbors who block the streets ask motorists for ID to certify that they live there to let them pass.
Otherwise, they have to
face the traffic jams.
"We have had
intermittent cuts for three days.
They cut for two or three hours and then it comes back. But after a while we ran out of light again. We have been
like this since Sunday.
But now everything has gotten worse: yesterday they cut at 11:30 and we still have no service, " Gabriela, a neighbor of the Nágera neighborhood,
tells
Clarín
that she is facing complications along with her three children.
One of the headquarters of the National Technological University (UTN) works in the area, which had to suspend summer courses, classes and activities.
And the situation of merchants who depend on electricity to keep their merchandise refrigerated and not have to throw it away is also complicated.
The Dellepiane highway was closed for six hours by no more than ten people protesting power outages.

"You call and a little machine answers you"
, several of the neighbors agree, and add: "Then they make you send an SMS and the same thing happens, there is no answer. After a while you get an email saying that there is an electrical
incident
and that they will restore it shortly ".
This Wednesday, after
six hours of interrupted traffic
, around 10 o'clock and after an operation by the City Police, the cut was released and traffic returned to circulate on the highway that connects the Ezeiza airport with the center of the city. City.
"On top of that we are without electricity and we have to go up and down stairs, every time the highway is cut the buses
deviate and nobody knows where to go to catch them
. It is one more problem and it makes us all arrive late for work," he adds Gabriela.
The number of residents without electricity supply is large in the area and reaches some areas of
Mataderos and the Piedrabuena neighborhood
, further away from the highway.
In all cases, the complaints and difficulties due to the lack of service on extremely hot days are repeated.
From Edesur, the company that provides the service in the area, they told Clarín
that
company operators are working to solve the problem this Wednesday.
On the Enre page, which reports the status of the service in real time, this Wednesday at 10 there were 14,155 users without supply.
Lugano and Villa Soldati are among the affected neighborhoods.
