The French newspaper Le Figaro revealed that the French armed forces suffer from a shortage of ammunition stocks, and that the military support provided by the French government to the Kiev regime has depleted these stocks.

The newspaper stated that the French ground forces suffer from a shortage of various types of artillery ammunition, including 155 mm ammunition used in Howitz cannons, in addition to a shortage of shells and ammunition for other types of artillery.

Julien Rancol, a member of the French Parliament, indicated in a report on the ammunition reserves of the French land forces that this shortage will limit the ability of the French army to withstand a confrontation with a powerful country.

Former Deputy Assistant Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Jimmy Shea, revealed in a previous statement to Sky News that the alliance had largely depleted its military stocks due to the large ammunition support it provided to Ukraine, while NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed yesterday that the Ukrainian forces are consuming an amount Ammunition much larger than those produced by the member states of the alliance.
