Latakia - SANA
A Libyan plane arrived at Latakia International Airport at dawn today, loaded with a new batch of aid to those affected by the earthquake that hit Syria on the 6th of February.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Lattakia airport director Ziyad Taweel said that the Libyan plane carried 40 tons of foodstuffs, including canned food and milk, in addition to medical equipment, including beds, mattresses and a medical device.
It is noteworthy that the number of planes coming from Arab and foreign countries to Latakia International Airport has reached 29 to date, 12 from the Emirates, 9 from Benghazi, 3 Belarus, 3 Russia, and 2 Iran.
