The head of the Board of Trustees of the Syrian-Russian Cooperation Foundation, Dr. Fadi Isani, said in a statement to SANA reporter: The target group is mainly children and families affected by the disaster that befell Syria, and the point includes medical staff to conduct examinations and give appropriate medicines, educational specialists to provide assistance to people with special needs, and a team Psychosocial support to raise people's awareness that we have passed the difficult stage and alleviate the state of panic and panic caused by the earthquake.

Isani noted the importance of cooperation and coordination between civil activities and government agencies for the success of the efforts made on the ground, and the delivery of assistance to those who deserve it to continue and overcome the painful reality, indicating that the initiative continues to provide all services to people in the affected areas in the three governorates.

In turn, Dr. Jamil Tahan, a medical supervisor at the Foundation, said: The mission of the team includes examining the children and patients affected by the earthquake, reassuring them about their health, providing the necessary treatment and medical support in the first place, followed by providing medicines to those with chronic conditions who left their homes and did not have time to take out their medicines, and examining non-medical cases. directly until their owners can go to clinics or hospital.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Imperial Russian Orthodox Society, Dr. George Issa, indicated that they are helping the Syrians to get out of this ordeal and provide medical, relief and food aid, adding: This is only the beginning and there will be continuous campaigns to support the largest possible number of those whose homes were destroyed and who were forced to evacuate because they were destroyed.
