The number of victims of the devastating earthquake disaster that struck southern Turkey at dawn on Monday, February 6, has risen to 35,814 people.
And the Anadolu Agency quoted the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, AFAD, as saying in a statement: “13,208 wounded people are still receiving treatment, while about 195,962 people have been evacuated from the areas hit by the earthquake so far.”
The statement indicated that more than 249,000 search and rescue personnel are currently working in the field.
The previous toll indicated that more than 32 thousand people were killed as a result of the earthquake, in an indefinite outcome.
