The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, directed the provision of another $50 million for the relief of those affected by the earthquake in the Syrian Arab Republic, as a continuation of the UAE's continuous efforts to stand by the Syrian people and provide assistance to those affected.

Of this amount, $20 million will be allocated for the implementation of humanitarian projects, in response to the urgent appeal of the United Nations on Syria, in coordination with the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

On the seventh of this month, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan instructed to provide 50 million dollars for the relief of those affected by the earthquake in Syria.

For the tenth day in a row, the United Arab Emirates continues to send relief aid to those affected by the earthquake in Syria, as 38 planes carrying about 1,243 tons of food and medical aid flew, in addition to 2,893 tents to house about 20,000 people, in addition to sending a search and rescue team consisting of 42 people, to carry out search and rescue missions in the areas affected by the earthquake.
