In November 2021, the municipal planning and development company Pewu estimated the costs at around 1.55 million euros plus a Pewu surcharge of around 300,000 euros.

Max Reitmeier, who was commissioned with the architectural work, now presented the rough cost estimate together with a catalog of measures.

This time there is talk of costs amounting to 2.83 million euros plus a Pewu surcharge.

A grant of 900,000 euros from the "Investment Pact for the Promotion of Sports Facilities" program of the government of Upper Bavaria for accessibility and energetic renovation is expected.

Repair instead of complete renovation in the area of ​​sanitary and shading?

Then Reitmaier had good news and bad news.

The good news: There is potential for savings in the sanitary and changing room areas.

Instead of a complete renewal - as in the area of ​​shading - only a repair can be carried out.

The municipality could save around 280,000 euros as a result.


But roughly this sum is needed for other necessary measures for which there is no funding, that was the bad news.

For the renewal of the locking system and a decentralized drinking water heating system in the gym.

The fire protection of the gymnasium also needs to be brought up to date.

Municipal council Feldafing unanimously for redevelopment planning

The committee spoke unanimously in favor of carrying out the planning for a refurbishment with all twelve planned measures and including savings potential.

In addition to the repair of the roofs and the energetic upgrade of the side wing/gymnasium, the repair of the hall and gymnastics floor, the impact walls and the outer cladding, the renovation and barrier-free design of sanitary and changing rooms as well as the currently very energy-intensive ventilation and air conditioning are planned.

Partial conversion to convector heating and underfloor heating are to be integrated.


The lighting should be switched to LED, the elevator and doors should be barrier-free and the fire protection should also be improved.
