At the beginning of the energy crisis, the water temperature in the Tölz indoor pool was lowered by two degrees.

And it will stay that way for the time being.

Bad Tölz – The situation on the energy market has eased slightly.

In contrast to the Munich swimming pools, the water temperature in the indoor pool in Bad Tölz is still lower.

Stadtwerke spokeswoman Martina Geisberger communicated this to our newspaper on request.

A few days ago, Stadtwerke München announced that, starting Friday, February 17, it would set the pool temperature in its indoor pools back to the normal temperatures that applied before the energy-saving measures were taken.

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Bad Tölz newsletter.

There were no complaints in the Tölz indoor pool

In Tölz, on the other hand, the reduction from 29 to 27 degrees introduced last spring will remain.

The visitors "received it well, there were no complaints," said Geisberger.

The swimming pool on the Flinthöhe is "predominantly visited by 'exercise swimmers', and the athletes from the clubs sometimes even find the temperature quite pleasant," explains the spokeswoman.

"We also want to continue to keep the moderate prices constant for everyone, and to a certain extent this also includes the topic of saving energy."

Stadtwerke assume energy savings of up to 25 percent

A detailed evaluation of how much the reduction of water and room temperature in the indoor pool will bring is not yet available.

However, the public utilities are assuming energy savings of 20 to 25 percent.
