The National Salvation Front (FSN), the main opposition coalition in Tunisia, deplored on Wednesday the "

deterioration

" of the political situation in the country after a series of arrests which it described as "

repressive

" in political circles. -media.

Since Saturday, ten personalities, mostly opponents belonging to the Islamist-inspired party Ennahdha and its allies, but also the director of a large private radio station and a very influential businessman have been arrested during a net.

“Revenge” against opponents

This dragnet came at a time when the Tunisian president is continuing to build his hyper-presidentialist system, disregarding the massive boycott of all the electoral and consultative deadlines supposed to mark out this process.
