The branch of Al-Baath University in Homs launched a campaign of in-kind donations to secure clothes, school bags and various stationery for students from families affected by the earthquake.

The Secretary of the Baath Party branch in Homs, Dr. Faiq Shaddoud, said in a statement to SANA reporter: It is based on the role of the societal party that we launched this campaign, which aims to secure school needs, and it comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Baath University branch by sending volunteer and medical teams to the affected areas, a psychological support team and teams for studies. He added, "The cadres of Al-Baath University are fully prepared to implement what is required of them within the government's plan to move from an emergency emergency plan to an organized work plan that will include all aspects of work related to relief, rehabilitation of damaged areas and infrastructure."

The President of Al-Baath University, Dr. Abd al-Basit al-Khatib, confirmed that the university and all its scientific, administrative and student cadres share with its children in the affected governorates the difficult humanitarian conditions in which they live, stressing that the “We are Back to Learn” campaign is one of the forms of support and assistance to overcome the effects of the earthquake, noting that the university is part of society and its duty Supporting affected children to return to their schools to compensate for the educational loss they missed in the past period, and to overcome this stage with the least psychological, educational and educational damage to our children and youth, who are the hope and future of Syria.

In turn, the head of the Youth Sub-Office, Jaber Istanbul, explained that the campaign aims to heal the wounds, restore the smile on the faces of our children, and secure their return to schools, which contributes to establishing solidarity and standing together, pointing to the efforts made by the volunteer students for their afflicted brothers. .

Volunteer Khaled Gharzeddine said: “The role of the youth must be the actor on the ground, and it is our duty to stand by everyone, big and small, to console them and heal their wounds.”

The young man, Yazan Al-Essa, emphasized that volunteer work is one of the highest types of service and humanitarian work that we can provide to our people affected by this disaster, and to be one hand to provide everything possible.

The volunteer, Munira Al-Naameh, expressed her feelings of sadness and pain towards what the Syrian governorates were subjected to, stressing that the students had lost their study qualifications, including housing, stationery, and educational materials, and it is our duty today to return some of those things to them.
